The Power of Volunteering

THE POWER OF VOLUNTEERING

The movement begins early. In the morning, the environment is already alive. Children arrive full of excitement, accompanied by their parents, who share the same emotion — attentive to parking, bags, schedules, and every detail. The fields are properly marked and ready. The medal and trophy stands, as well as the coffee and cake stall, are all set up. Everything is organized and running on time for the opening of the event.

Behind this operation, there is a team of almost invisible “ants” — disciplined, dedicated, and essential: the volunteers.

Amateur sports, in any modality, have their foundation as the driving force. And behind the scenes, while the young athlete is the protagonist, there they are: coaches, equipment assistants, attendants, tent assemblers, announcers, and many others. These are people who give their time, energy, and care so that everything happens in the best possible way. More than organizing an event, they help build dreams.

It is at the grassroots level that the great names of sports are born. And it is volunteering that sustains this beginning — with dedication, love, and purpose.
